9\30\09 I'm am so glad Mr. K taught us how to do this. I think that we should have recess before lunch because then you would not get as hungry before you get home. Also, everyone would not rush to get done with lunch just so that they can get out to recess. Lunch should definately be longer because then the people who eat slow can have more time to finish their lunch rather than rushing and not getting filled up. I think everyone in Dublin city schools should have school on Saturday and Sundays.Then, those extra days we have school will mean more days added on to summer vacation.So, for every weekend we have school, we'd get two more days of summer vacation.I think that buses should come at 9:00 and school should start at 9:30 and we will leave at 4:00.I

Hi this is Anthony's sister! I hope that you all like Scottish Corners! I go To Karrer!!!!! Karrer is Awesome!!! (and so is Cross Country!) At lunch we get slushies and there is also an ice cream machine. we can even get subs made for ourselves! I like lunch, but we do not get recess. But all the teachers are cool, and awesome, and nice, so don't fear MIddle school. We also get lockers too.But they are small. Today in Cross Country we did sprints around the track and ran 3 miles total, but once we ran 5 miles so 3 miles wasn't too hard. Good bye everyone people in Mr. Keefer's class! have fun

King's Island
We stepped outside the car. My family heard the loud and high screams. We walked up te sidewalk and put our tickets under the scanner. Then, the toll let us in. Once, we got in, I said that i wanted to go on the Adventure Express. I told my dad that I forget that it was my birthday, the 4th of July. The ride was bumpy and swervy because it was made of wood,so it was suppose to feel like that. After that, we ate lunch. I was not too hungry but it tasted good. Next, we went on the Racer. The coaster was al white nd wooden, so it was bumpy too. The blue cart was broken so we went on the red cart. I felt 5 sprinkles. I tried to tell my dad but with the roar of the wheels and the bumpiness of the wood, he could not hear me. We got off after the ride finished. I told my dad about the rain and he felt it too. Then i got scared that the rides would be closed for the whole day. My dad checked the radar on his phone and it looked like the rain was going to slow down. So, then my mom took us for Greater's ice cream. I got vanilla and my sister got cookies and cream. Soon after, we went on the Beast. We stood in line for an hour because the line was long. My sister wanted to come with us but could not find us in line. we waited and watched for her and finally she was there and we could all go on the ride. The Beast was wood and we started out slow and then went up and up and up! When we went down, there was a big tunnel that looked like rocks because they were painted gray and looked 3-D. Inside the tunnel there was also a hidden camera. It started to get bumpy and we were in the woods. The hill made a little slant but we were still able to go faster. When we got off, my sister said that her head hurt and I told her that it was because the ride was 5 minutes long. We walked around and saw a basketball game. I played it and won yellow basketball with a smiley face in it. Then, we headed to the Diamondback roller coaster. This was the newest and tallest ride there. We waited in line again but not as long as the Beast. We looked down and saw a clear box with millions of phones in it. There were iPhones, iTouches, and all kinds of expensive stuff but they were all broken. Suddenly, we were next so we got into our seats and they were red and orange. There was one orange thing that held you in the seat but it was scary because it was not even as big as a piece of paper.. I was like, "how is this going to hold us in"? My mom is afraid of heights so she did not ride with us. The ride started and the rain did too. We went higher and higher and soon we were as high as the replica of the Eiffel Tower. We went faster and faster and up and down about 80 miles per hour but it felt like 1,000,000 mph. We went 1/4 way down the yellow hill and i still could not believe that something not even as big as a piece of paper was holding me in. All of a sudden, something hit me in the face, it was a raindrop! I could not tell my dad because the wind was coming at me so fast that i could not breathe. Finally, we were down the huge hill! We went around this giant turn that almost went upside down. There was a little hill and we went down it and there was a big jet that sprayed out water. We skidded across the water and the jets squirted out water about 80 feet! Then we went back up to the shelter. Me and my dad and my sister were laughing. The line was long but I thought it was worth it. I looked at my watch and it was 3:43. The it started to rain again but the ride stayed open. All of us walked around. Then I saw the Avatar. It had a track that looked like a big "W" and there were rows is seats in the middle that spun around while it was going up and down on the "W" shaped track. It took about 15 minutes. Then we got off. Next we looked at the map and we saw the Scooby-Doo ride was the closest. So we went there. We always verse each other. It was me and my sister v.s. my mom and dad. The line went very fast. We hopped into a cart and set off. We had these green guns that shoot light and hit these little targets. When you shot something it lit up or moved. At the end I had the score of 1,643, my sister had 736, my dad had 782 and my mom had about 728. Then it was about 5:30 and we had to eat lunch. We had Chick-Fil-A. I did not want to eat because we were having so much fun, but we had to. After dinner we went on the Fire Hawk. We jumped into line and there were these big fans that had misters on them with tents. After a while we were there. The seats had lots of padding on them. Once everyone got strapped in, the seats laid back. Then we went. We were facing down. We went very high up but not that high for a roller coaster. Then we went down a hill facing down. Then we went on a turn and it felt like we were going to fall out then we went on a loop the loop and there was a lot of g-force. Then there was a couple other turned and it was over. I thought it was a good ride. Then we went to play skeeball. The time was about 8:00 and my dad went to go get us slushies and me, my sister and my mom went to go find a good place to watch the fireworks. Then once my dad came back the fireworks started. There were red ones and blue ones with multi-colored ones. There were even ones that stayed lit when they touched the ground! My heart was pounding from the noise. They they were over and me and my dad went on the Diamond Back while my mom and sister played in the arcade. It was kind of dark out and the rain started again but we still went. We went up and up and up. Then down and still I could not breathe because of the wind. We went around the turn and skidded across the water and the jets squirted out water again. So then the ride was over. So we went to the arcade and played some games and it was about 11:00 and the took my picture exactly when I turned 9.

TIME MACHINE
"Hey,wait up", Alex yelled. Brandon turned around to see Alex. "Oh, there you are Alex! I've been looking everywhere for you!" "Me too!", Alex replied. "I was thinking about going to the dump to look around for parts to build something," "Sounds like fun!", Brandon said. "Maybe we can ask Tommy to come along for help." Alex agreed. "Okay, race ya to his house!"
Both boys arrived at Tommy's house, panting and out of breath. Then Alex rang the doorbell. "HA! I beat you!" Alex bragged as Tommy answered the door. "Do you want to go to the dump & build something?", Brandon asked. "Hold on a second", Tommy said. "I have to ask my parents first." He ran towards his parent's room as fast as he could and all that Alex and Brandon could hear was Tommy shouting, " Can I Go TO THE DUMP?" Tommy soon ran back to the front door and said that he was allowed to go! He slipped on his shoes and stepped outside with the other boys.
Ten minutes later, they all arrived at the dump. They entered the dump and saw someone rummaging through a pile of junk, it was Jack. Brandon and Tommy ran over to say hi while Alex decided to look for parts to build with. Soon, Alex saw some stange object that was blue, orange, yellow, red and green. He thought it looked cool and called the other boys over to see it. Brandon wanted to see if there was anything on the bottom of it and crawled under it. "Hmm, this thing is tall, what is it Jack asked?" Brandon popped out from underneath and said, "I might know what it is." It said it was a time machine on the bottom. Brandon looked over and saw that Tommy was already inside the time machine. Tommy pulled the lever, "Noooo", Brandon exclaimed, but it was too late. Zap! With a flash of bright light they all landed with an Omph!!
"Hey, where did Alex go?", Jack said. Then they heard Alex yell, "I'm over here come on." When the boys came over, Alex said, "Look at this sign, it says that it is the year 1896." "That's impossible", Jack said. They looked around at the town. It looked like an old movie with dirt roads, sand blowing around and all the old wooden buildings. They really wanted to see the town but knew it was too dangerous. Before they knew it, Jack was off exploring. They ran after him and finally caught up. Suddenly, Alex shouted, "oh no!" The boys looked up and saw 10 people on horses rampaging after them. "Ahhhhh!" they all yelled.
"Zap!" They were all ducking there heads as Tommy looked up. "What happened?", he asked the others. "It appears that the time machine took us back in time." Brandon said. "Zap!", "We're home!", Alex exclaimed. "Not for long!", Tommy sang out. "Zap!" Jack looked at his cell phone. It said that it was Oct. 31, 1939, one day before World War II. Then, he told the others, "we better get back soon because there will soon be danger.
They ran towards the closest house that they could find. The boys quickly pushed open some big wooden doors, rushed around a dark spiral staircase and stumbled onto an old dungeon. In the dungeon, they saw two people who were locked behind a strong gate. One man looked like Albert Einstein and the other man had bright blue eyes, brown hair and a shaggy green shirt on. "Um...hi", Tommy said. "Do you by chance know how to work a time machine?" The man that looked like Einstein looked up and said, " Yes, we do! But we don't know where it is." Before anyone could stop him, Jack blurted out, "We know where one is!" The blue-eyed man replied, "we are trapped here because we built that time machine!" "Well then, how do we get you guys out of here?", Tommy cried. "There are keys up on that nail above the door, lets see if they work.", said Brandon. Alex ran over and grabbed the keys and quickly unlocked the big gate door. It swung open with a big screech. Once they all escaped the mansion house, they saw more people with weapons. "How do we get past them?", Alex whispered to the blue-eyed man. The man said his name was Nick and told them to to run over to a big opening shaped like an "n". "Suddenly,Boom!", through a cloud of smoke, the Time Machine appeared. Jack pushed it over to the others and said, "Ok, how do you work this thing?" Nick explained, "Press this red button, touch the screen, and turn the knob to set the year that you wish to travel to. Tommy said, "we need to go to the year 2010." He set the knob to 2010 and ZAP!! "Yeah!!!", Brandon said. Everyone excitedly yelled, "we're home!" "Lets not tell our parents about this", Alex said. Everyone agreed while laughing.
Now, the two men needed to be sent back to the year 1939. The boys all said goodbye and thanked them for their help before they stepped into the time machine and went away. "Race ya home!", Tommy shouted and started running as the rest of the boys ran after him home.

TIME MACHINE
"Hey,wait up", Alex yelled. Brandon turned around to see Alex. "Oh, there you are Alex! I've been looking everywhere for you!" "Me too!", Alex replied. "I was thinking about going to the dump to look around for parts to build something," "Sounds like fun!", Brandon said. "Maybe we can ask Tommy to come along for help." Alex agreed. "Okay, race ya to his house!"
Both boys arrived at Tommy's house, panting and out of breath. Then Alex rang the doorbell. "HA! I beat you!" Alex bragged as Tommy answered the door. "Do you want to go to the dump & build something?", Brandon asked. "Hold on a second", Tommy said. "I have to ask my parents first." He ran towards his parent's room as fast as he could and all that Alex and Brandon could hear was Tommy shouting, " Can I Go TO THE DUMP?" Tommy soon ran back to the front door and said that he was allowed to go! He slipped on his shoes and stepped outside with the other boys.
Ten minutes later, they all arrived at the dump. They entered the dump and saw someone rummaging through a pile of junk, it was Jack. Brandon and Tommy ran over to say hi while Alex decided to look for parts to build with. Soon, Alex saw some stange object that was blue, orange, yellow, red and green. He thought it looked cool and called the other boys over to see it. Brandon wanted to see if there was anything on the bottom of it and crawled under it. "Hmm, this thing is tall, what is it Jack asked?" Brandon popped out from underneath and said, "I might know what it is." It said it was a time machine on the bottom. Brandon looked over and saw that Tommy was already inside the time machine. Tommy pulled the lever, "Noooo", Brandon exclaimed, but it was too late. Zap! With a flash of bright light they all landed with an Omph!!
"Hey, where did Alex go?", Jack said. Then they heard Alex yell, "I'm over here come on." When the boys came over, Alex said, "Look at this sign, it says that it is the year 1896." "That's impossible", Jack said. They looked around at the town. It looked like an old movie with dirt roads, sand blowing around and all the old wooden buildings. They really wanted to see the town but knew it was too dangerous. Before they knew it, Jack was off exploring. They ran after him and finally caught up. Suddenly, Alex shouted, "oh no!" The boys looked up and saw 10 people on horses rampaging after them. "Ahhhhh!" they all yelled.
"Zap!" They were all ducking there heads as Tommy looked up. "What happened?", he asked the others. "It appears that the time machine took us back in time." Brandon said. "Zap!", "We're home!", Alex exclaimed. "Not for long!", Tommy sang out. "Zap!" Jack looked at his cell phone. It said that it was Oct. 31, 1939, one day before World War II. Then, he told the others, "we better get back soon because there will soon be danger.
They ran towards the closest house that they could find. The boys quickly pushed open some big wooden doors, rushed around a dark spiral staircase and stumbled onto an old dungeon. In the dungeon, they saw two people who were locked behind a strong gate. One man looked like Albert Einstein and the other man had bright blue eyes, brown hair and a shaggy green shirt on. "Um...hi", Tommy said. "Do you by chance know how to work a time machine?" The man that looked like Einstein looked up and said, " Yes, we do! But we don't know where it is." Before anyone could stop him, Jack blurted out, "We know where one is!" The blue-eyed man replied, "we are trapped here because we built that time machine!" "Well then, how do we get you guys out of here?", Tommy cried. "There are keys up on that nail above the door, lets see if they work.", said Brandon. Alex ran over and grabbed the keys and quickly unlocked the big gate door. It swung open with a big screech. Once they all escaped the mansion house, they saw more people with weapons. "How do we get past them?", Alex whispered to the blue-eyed man. The man said his name was Nick and told them to to run over to a big opening shaped like an "n". "Suddenly,Boom!", through a cloud of smoke, the Time Machine appeared. Jack pushed it over to the others and said, "Ok, how do you work this thing?" Nick explained, "Press this red button, touch the screen, and turn the knob to set the year that you wish to travel to. Tommy said, "we need to go to the year 2010." He set the knob to 2010 and ZAP!! "Yeah!!!", Brandon said. Everyone excitedly yelled, "we're home!" "Lets not tell our parents about this", Alex said. Everyone agreed while laughing.
Now, the two men needed to be sent back to the year 1939. The boys all said goodbye and thanked them for their help before they stepped into the time machine and went away. "Race ya home!", Tommy shouted and started running as the rest of the boys ran after him home.

The wyandot tribe became allies with the french until the british war. They used spers bow and arrows. The population in 1535 was 30,000 to 45,000 but in 105 years (1640) the population was less than 10,000 from diseases. Some of them did not agree with each other so they divided up into 12 different clans.

The Wyandot Tribe built log style houses up to 180 feet long. Everyone in the tribe called called themselves "Wendat" that over time changed into "Wyandottie" or "Huron". They spoke in French, English and their own language that they invented. Anthony Wane defeated the Wyandots at the Battle of Fallen Timbers. Leather Lips was one of the leaders of the Wyandots. The Wyandot tribe was the last tribe to leave Ohio.

Anthony Wane ordered Captain Williams to go and find out what the plans were of the Sandusky Indians but Captain Williams said he could not because the Wyandots live there. Anthony Wane took over the Wyandots and he moved them into Kansas and Oklahoma. You can still find approximately 4,000 Wyandots in Kansas and Oklahoma.
